Teens who vape are 7 times more likely to smoke cigarettes:

A new study published in the medical journal Pediatrics claims that teens who vape are seven times more likely to progress to smoking cigarettes. Interestingly, the report found that teens who smoked cigarettes were no more likely to begin vaping, compared to their counterparts who didn’t smoke at all. The anonymous study surveyed high school students in Connecticut, MA, over a three year period, asking them about their use of e-cigarettes and tobacco in the previous month. According to the study, e-cigarettes are the most popular tobacco-related product with an estimated three million teens vaping across the U.S. You can read the full study here .
