adidas made one helluva move in the early-2000′s by nabbing Tracy McGrady right at the start of his superstar explosion in Orlando. While the potential for greatness was definitely visible when he was in Toronto, it was only when he was the true number-one guy that T-Mac mania took over the NBA. Of course his tenure in Orlando was highlighted more by individual accolades rather than team success (with Grant Hill gone and a frontcourt rotation of Andrew DeClerq, Michael Doleac, Bo Outlaw, and John Amaechi, what can ya do), but McGrady’s legitmacy as a ‘signature shoe’ guy was undoubtedly confirmed. adidas’ plans of re-releasing the original adidas T-Mac shoe has already begun, as Asian retailers have stocked the ‘All-Star’ colorway already, but check out the two more upcoming colorways in the detailed gallery below and let us know if you’ll be looking toward the new adidas ...
