Third teen charged in Air Jordan killing

A third suspect has been charged in the slaying of a young man over a pair of Nike Air Jordan sneakers. Anthony Quinn Wade , 19, was charged with capital murder on Monday in the shooting death of Joshua Wood , who had just purchased newly released Air Jordan XI "Bred" sneakers earlier that morning at Willowbrook Mall with a friend. Police also have arrested and charged Neal Bland , 18, and Keagean Arrington, 19, with capital murder in connection with Wood's death. Wood, 22, and his friend were parked in the 1700 block of Plumwood in northwest Harris County when two armed men emerged from a green car and demanded the sneakers, according to the Harris County Sheriff's Office. The driver ran off on foot, leaving Wood behind in the car, where he was shot. Wood managed to slide behind the wheel and drive off, but crashed between two homes and hit a gas line, according to report...
