Under Armour Has Once Again Invaded Nike’s Home Turf -

We all know that if Nike “owns” any state, it has to be the state were it all started, Oregon. Although that may be the case, Under Armour feels like that state is big enough for two companies to begin sharing it beginning with a win over a dispute regarding who gets to sponsor a local city park in Portland, Oregon. The Oregonian has reported that that Portland Commissioner, Amanda Fritz emailed Mayor Charlie Hales letting him know that Under Armour has been allowed to sponsor two city parks. What makes this interesting is that one of them happened to be previously sponsored by Nike. Once Nike heard the news they obviously didn’t take it lightly, as they weren’t happy that Under Armour wanted to take over something that was once sponsored by them.
