This Tattoo of Michael Jordan's Free Throw Dunk Is Amazing

While it's not a sneaker tattoo per se, this impressive piece of ink still deserves a nod for its re-creation of a classic moment in sneaker history. That moment is Michael Jordan's soaring through the air during the 1988 All-Star Slam Dunk Contest. As any self-respecting sneakerhead knows, Mike wore the Air Jordan 3 "White/Cement" during the legendary performance, a shoe that appears in detail here. It's tough to tell from the photo whether or not the original "Nike Air" branding is used on the heel of Jordan's shoes, but perhaps the artist behind this one, Steve Butcher, deserves the benefit of the doubt. This sneaker last returned for 2013's All-Star release.
