Man Gets Sentenced to 8 Years for Air Jordan 7 Bordeaux Robbery

The Jordan VII "Bordeaux" made its third release last year, to much fanfare. It was only the second time the shoe had retro-ed (the first occurred in 2011), and this pair was marketed as a remastered version, i.e. closer to the original ( longer upper, higher cut, colors closer to the original on the tongue, better materials, etc.). A trio of men in Connecticut thought they could rob a group of teens for the shoes and make an easy come up. However, what they're ending up with, is their comeuppance. According to CBS Connecticut, 24-year-old Angel Cintron was one of the three men who robbed a group of at least six teens at gunpoint during the release of the shoe. Cintron and two other men made off with cash, cell phones, and a laptop belonging to the teens after the robbery outside of a Waterbury, Conn. sporting goods store at approximately 1:30 am.
