Canon Working on a Game Changing New Lens Technology

Canon Working on a Game Changing New Lens Technology

Canon , one of Forbes ‘ 2017 most reputable companies , announced in an interview with Focus Numerique that they’re working on a “new lens technology.” Translated from French, the executives from the Japanese camera manufacturer said this outside the Utsunomiya L lense factory in Japan, “Without being permitted to tell you more, we are developing a new technology that will bring real added value and will allow you to take a new type of photo.” The notion of a “new type of photo” is interesting considering the two traditional formats now are analog and digital. However, the phrase could potentially mean that a new image format is on the way, adding to .jpeg, .tiff, .exif, .png and .bmp. Stay tuned for more information as this could be a game changer and let us know what you think the “news lens tech” and “new type of photo” could be in reference to.
